Business park on track for Tunbridge Wells
Plans for a business park in Tunbridge Wells are moving forwards
Applications submitted for a large-scale business park in North Farm have been granted outline planning permission.
The business park will be located on a 30-acre parcel of land opposite the turning for Knights Park, and if granted approval will create over 4,000 new jobs for the community. Enterprises offering new positions at their outlets can sometimes use graphic design services to create professional advertisements for local publications to attract applicants.
Businesses based in Tunbridge Wells like Childrensalon have spoken out in support of the new venture. The childrenswear retailer and wholesaler has commented that it currently employs 500 residents in the area and that the newly planned business park would keep its operation running in Tunbridge. Although it maintains a presence on the high street, the company also sells its high-end fashionwear online worldwide and operates out of several industrial units based close to the proposed site.
Communications officer and chief of corporate affairs for Childrensalon, Denise Hamilton, commented:
The outline permission recently awarded for the new business park is subject to points raised by Kent Highways and Highways England, regarding the potential traffic impact to the area as a result of the plans.
