The American comedian Fred Armisen is on tour with his show 'Comedy for Musicians But Everyone Is Welcome', and will appear in South Birmingham towards the end of November.
This actor, musical artist, screenwriter and producer also co-creates and stars in the hit sketch show 'Portlandia', along with Carrie Brownstein. He is perhaps, however, best recognised for his time as a performer on NBC's 'SNL' between 2002 and 2013. He is currently the house bandleader on 'Late Night with Seth Meyers'.
Fred began in the Chicago post-punk outfit, Trenchmourh. His move into comedy came in the late 1990s with the cult movie 'Fred Armisen's Guide to Music and South By South West'. He has been four times Emmy-nominated, and in 2014 jointly won the Writers Guild Award for Outstanding Comedy/Variety Series.
This multi-talented comedian previously featured in minor film roles, notably 'Eurotrip' and 'Zoolander 2' and did voice work in both 'Super Mario Bros' and 'The Smurfs'. His list of TV credits includes '30 Rock' and 'Parks & Recreation'. He also recently featured on his own Netflix special, 'Fred Armisen: Stand Up For Drummers'.
Tickets cost £22.50, but may be subject to a transaction fee. Poster printing can be a useful way of advertising a future musical concert or comedy event.
Fred Armisen's show has a start time of 7.30pm on Sunday 26th November at Hare & Hounds, South Birmingham.
