60s group to pay a visit to Solihull

A successful band from the 1960s, The Foundations, is due to give a performance in Solihull early in June.

The band topped the charts worldwide with a succession of well-known hits such as Baby Now That I’ve Found You! and Build Me Up Buttercup. Alan Warner, the lead guitarist and vocalist, is the only original member still in the line-up. He was with the band from 1967 until they eventually broke-up in 1970.

Dedicated to keeping their sound alive, Warner is now assisted by a group of new and talented musicians. Today, the line-up consists of vocalist Hue Montgomery, Dave Lennox on keyboard, John Dee on base and backing vocals, Alan Warner himself, Pete Stroud on the drums and saxophonist Dominic Bon De Sousa.

The band has an extensive back catalogue that features in their stage performance. On the night, they will likely play tracks such as Back On My Feet Again, In The Bad Bad Old Days (Before You Loved Me) and Any Old Time (You’re Lonely and Sad).

Tickets cost £28.00 plus a transaction fee. Promotional Products can be a useful way of advertising a concert or musical event like this one.
