Citation is hosting a Human Resources event for Day Nursery owners in Edgbaston later this month.

It will examine some of the common challenges that face businesses in an increasingly testing economic environment. Citation has the expertise and knowledge derived from over 20 years of experience in the sector and in working closely with the Day Nursery Association.

The topics on the agenda include advice on employing and keeping the most talented people, dealing with illness and absenteeism, increasing productivity, developing a positive work environment, and improving employee communication skills.

There will time set aside for questions specific to the nature of individual businesses.

Citation conducts such events nationwide, which are aimed at keeping people up to date with important Health and Safety and HR issues and developments. The company says that its events are designed to ‘inform, educate and answer’. Flyer printing is a good way of ensuring that people are actively kept informed about laws and any changes.

The event is hosted by Megan Mulholland, an experienced HR Consultant and a specialist in HR and Employment Law and attendance is free of charge. However, it is recommended by the organisers that potential attendees register in advance.

The Citation HR and Nursery event is due to take place between 2pm and 4:30pm on Thursday 18th July at the Edgbaston Park Road Hotel in South Birmingham.
