South Birmingham to hold cheese and wine tasting event

The Loki Summer Cheese and Wine Tasting event is due to be held in South Birmingham at the end of June.

A series of classic combinations will be presented, ranging from the authentic Manchego and ageing Rioja to the more familiar Christmas fare of Stilton and Port. The choice of bottles includes some quality offerings which can be sampled, along with cheeses that either complement or challenge the wine.

Six different types of artisan produce from the deli will be taste-tested against the six specially selected grape varieties from the cellar. The event will showcase examples of the unusual and the alternatives to the classic duos.

Those in attendance will then be guided through the various stages, demonstrating why cheese and wine are so often a popular combo. It will also seek to dispel the long-standing myth that a glass of Port is all that is required for a tasting.

Entry costs £35, which is transferable but not refundable. The numbers attending are strictly limited to 36 and it is advisable to book early since the places are likely to fill up quickly. Stationary printers, providing a bespoke service, can deliver a valuable product to any potential commercial client such as informative Brochures.

The Loki Summer Cheese and Wine Tasting event will take place between 1pm and 3pm on Saturday 27th June at Loki Wine and Deli in Edgbaston, South Birmingham.
