A Chocolate Afternoon Tea, organised by Civic Catering, is due to be held in South Birmingham early in November.
This is a chance to sample some hot cocoa and marshmallows. It should be of particular interest to the connoisseur, but also appealing to both adults and children simply wanting to experience something slightly different as part of a day out.
There will be a choice of a freshly brewed tea in a pot, or coffee served with a variety of different finger sandwiches. This is complemented by homemade chocolate-chipped scones together with a spread of other chocolate delicacies.
Tables are booked for one and a half hours, leaving ample time afterwards for guests to walk around and explore the gardens and house. It is an opportunity to take a brief respite from the pressures of daily life and relax in scenic surroundings.
Tickets cost £19.95 for adults and £9.95 for children 12 years or under. There are two sitting times, 1:30 pm and 3:00 pm, and those attending are invited to contact the organisers for further details should they need them.
