A leisure centre with a swimming pool opened in south Birmingham recently.
The leisure centre is located in Northfield, which is a suburb situated on the southern outskirts of the city. The hub contains a swimming pool, a gym and a community space. Printing services in south Birmingham may be used to showcase leisure opportunities.
The Northfield leisure centre contains a swimming pool which is 25 metres in length. A range of services shall be made available to users of the centre. There is a separate pool in which people can learn to swim. Birthday parties and holiday activities are on offer to keep children busy. Fitness classes will assist adults to stay in shape.
Local swimmers were obliged to wait for a period of two years for the completion of the leisure centre. This was because it replaced a building that stopped providing services within 2016.
Birmingham City Council has been trying to improve swimming facilities across the city. It received a grant from Sport England of £36 million to deliver improvements. It has been cooperating with the private sector to make a difference.
An Olympic-sized pool was opened at the University of Birmingham during the course of 2017. Staff, students and the public can access the 50-metre pool. Over £50 million was spent on the production of a fresh sports centre.
