The Birmingham Prosecco Festival: Fizz, Gin and Cocktails is the latest stop on a national tour due to arrive in the city in mid-February.
This is the UK's first and largest festival of its kind, and features 40 or more types of prosecco, including pink fizz and cava. These are well complemented by a range of cocktails, such as the emblematic white chocolate snow-white prosecco and authentic Bellini.
It should appeal to both people who already have a keen interest in the tipple, as well as those eager to sample and learn something more about it. Attendees will receive a free glass full of prosecco as a welcome gesture, a unique wristband, a drinks guide and a branded personal flute to take away and keep.
The musical entertainment is provided by the in-house prosecco band, and food by an Italian stall serving cicchetti (small Italian snacks). Peroni beer is available for non-bubbly drinkers, as well as a specially chosen selection of gins, and suitable nibbles.
Ticket prices start at £13.50 and entry is strictly limited to those over the age of 18. A special VIP package is also available. Stationery printers can be useful when it comes to organising and promoting a large event such as this.
The Birmingham Prosecco Festival will take place between 6:30 pm and 11:00 pm on Friday, February 12 and Saturday, February 13 at Birmingham Town Hall, South Birmingham.
