South Birmingham gets ready to host music festival

The Mostly Jazz, Funk and Soul Festival is due to be held over several days in South Birmingham at the beginning of July.

This remains one of the city's most high-profile musical events, with fans coming from across the UK. In the wake of last year's challenges, it is now back to a more familiar schedule.

The confirmed line-up consists of a mixture of established performers together with emerging talent. These include the two-tone legends The Specials, American funk group The Fatback Band, and the actor-turned-DJ Craig Charles spinning the discs.

There will also be sets by The Wailers, D J Joda, Children of Zeus, Sam Redmore, and Ill Considered. Musicians who are new to the scene are appearing too, include Maya Delilah and Coops.

Those in attendance can sample the prize-winning culinary dishes and refreshments available from public bars and authorised vendors. A variety of dance seminars and workshops on subjects like ballet, Northern soul, and disco yoga will take place.

Adult ticket prices start at £55, under 15s pay £25 plus a booking fee, while entry for under 12s is free. Logo Design can play an important role when promoting a major show or musical event.

The Mostly Festival will take place over the July 8 to 10 weekend at Moseley Park, South Birmingham.
