South Birmingham full of beans this July

The Birmingham Coffee Festival is due to take place within a short distance of the south of the city this summer.

This attracts independent shops and coffee houses, as well as specialised roasters and companies interested in expanding UK wide. Its purpose is to act as a forum for producers and consumers in order to celebrate the popular beverage.

The festival takes place over two days and involves more than 50 commercial coffee enterprises from both the local area and further afield. This is a chance for professionals to discover a new speciality bean or supplier, or simply to purchase a coffee they know and love.

The appeal extends to the casual coffee drinker, as well as those who enjoy the full coffee shop experience and, of course, the dedicated coffee connoisseur. It is open to all to enjoy both the coffee culture and a wide selection of cuisine from all over the world.

The venue has a seating area where visitors can relax with a coffee or a full lunch. There will also be a local DJ on hand to provide musical entertainment.

Tickets cost £9.12, and this includes unlimited samples. At such events, those engaged in commerce may consider having some extra business card printing ordered for networking purposes.

The Birmingham Coffee Festival will take place between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm on the July 3 and 4 weekend at the Custard Factory, Digbeth, close to South Birmingham.
