Famed Australian singer-songwriter Ian Moss is currently on tour and is due to play a gig in South Birmingham at the beginning of June. When promoting an event such as a concert, Stationery printers can be a valuable asset for those involved.
The Australian rocker hails from Alice Springs in Australia’s Northern Territory. He began playing the guitar as a teenager in local bands before moving to Adelaide in 1973. Once there, he answered an ad that saw him join the group that would eventually become Cold Chisel.
Ian, over the course of his solo career, has released a total of six albums. These include ‘Petrolhead’, ‘World's Away’, ‘Let's All Get Together’, ‘Soul On West 53rd’ and the self-titled ‘Ian Moss’.
2019 marked three decades since the release of his seminal first LP Matchbook on 1st August 1989. It made No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart and stayed in the Top 10 for a further 14 weeks, selling 200,000 plus records within 12 months.
Matchbook went on to pick up Album of the Year, Best Male Artist and Breakthrough Artist at the 1990 ARIA Music Awards. 2023 is already setting itself up to be another busy year for him on the road.
