Solihull travels through time to revisit the 1940s
The 1940s Summer Ball constitutes the celebration of an era and is due to be held in Solihull in mid-August.
This is to be an evening of quality food, music and community spirit, as well as a chance to revisit a distinctive decade in Britain's history - one that still resonates today.
The itinerary will include live music and dancing, with the sounds of swing provided by Alex Norman, who will be performing favourites from the 1940s. DJ sets incorporating popular party tunes should also keep the dance floor moving.
A three-course dinner will be on the table for those attending. There will also be an opportunity to participate in a raffle offering attractive prizes and an auction. The money raised will go to support projects in the local area.
In keeping with the event, a dress code will be enforced, with prizes being awarded for the best 1940s fashion.
This event is a chance to get together and connect with others, and to celebrate.
Tickets cost £60.00 per person. Promotional products can be of great assistance when organising local festivals and activities like this one.
The 1940s Summer Ball will have a starting time of 7.00 pm on Saturday, 16 August. The location can be found at the Silhillians Sports Club and Conference Centre venue, Solihull.
