The famous home of chocolate in the UK celebrated the festive season in style with a number of Yuletide-themed chocolate attractions. Amongst the attractions on show were a pantomime performance of Aladdin and, of course, Santa's Grotto where children can visit Santa himself. All of this comes alongside the usual Cadbury World offerings, which include chocolate tasting and making.
Exhibitions like this often rely on local Print companies to help them produce promotional material, using techniques like poster and flyer printing. South Birmingham and the wider midlands region is home to a number of other attractions alongside Cadbury World, including the Bullring and the National Exhibition Centre, all of which produce similar promotional material in order to attract new and returning visitors each year.
Cadbury World recently announced that it has enjoyed a record number of visitors this year, with 600,000 people coming through its doors to enjoy its chocolate-themed attractions. The general manager of Cadbury World, Gerrard Baldwin, spoke about this, saying:
“This marks Cadbury World’s best ever year for footfall and demonstrates how we’re continuing to grow in popularity since we first opened in 1990. Since that time, we have welcomed in excess of 11 million visitors."
More information on the forthcoming events at Cadbury World and other midlands-based attractions can be found by either contacting local tourist information offices or by looking out for leaflets and Brochures advertising such events.
The festive event at Cadbury World ran until 23rd December 2012.
