The singer/songwriter Fanny Lumsden has released details of a six-date UK tour and is due to play South Birmingham in early August.
Born and brought up in New South Wales, music was a major part of her childhood, with the whole family learning various instruments. She studied for a Bachelor's in Rural Science, moved to Sydney, and started to gig, eventually linking up with her band, The Thrillseekers.
Fanny won an Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Award, plus two other LP nominations. She is an eight-time Country Music Awards of Australia (CMMA) Golden Guitars winner and has had a series of chart-topping albums.
Together with husband Dan, she owns and manages the successful label, Red Dirt Records, not to mention a commercial company that hires out touring venues across Australia. Her third release 'Fallow' entered at 10 on the national charts. It also won 'Best Country Album' giving the artist a second ARIA at the 2020 Awards.
Fanny produced a documentary about the making of 'Fallow' and subsequently sold out an Australian theatre tour. Her latest album 'Hey Dawn' is out now.
Tickets cost £19.80 inclusive of a transaction fee. Poster printing can be an effective option when it comes to the promotion of a future concert or musical event.
Fanny Lumsden's show has a starting time of 7.30 pm on Wednesday 7th August at Hare & Hounds, South Birmingham.
