Football fans in Solihull are in for a treat this November as Paul Merson, former England and Arsenal player, will bring his acclaimed stage show An Evening with Paul Merson to a local venue.
Best known for his 12-year career at Arsenal, as well as his punditry work with Sky Sports, Merson will take to the stage to share his journey both on and off the pitch.
On the night, Merson’s stories will span his time at Arsenal, Middlesbrough, Aston Villa, Portsmouth and with the England national team. Attendees can expect plenty of football banter as he recalls pranks, locker room “bust-ups” and behind-the-scenes moments from his playing days.
Alongside these tales, Merson will delve into his media career and candidly discuss his well-documented struggles, offering a raw, unfiltered look at his life. Following the success of his documentary, this event looks to be an equally engaging evening.
Hosted by Merson’s former Arsenal teammate Perry Groves, the event will also feature a question-and-answer session, allowing fans the chance to pose their own questions to the football legend.
