The Californian singer/songwriter John Craigie is currently on tour, and is due to give a performance in South Birmingham at the end of January.
After graduating from UC Santa Cruz, his first step was to front a band called Pond Rock. Then, in the mid-2000s, he chose to go solo. He embraced classic American folk, which led to critics comparing him to John Prine.
'Montana Tale' (2009) is widely viewed as his first album. Its Americana sound and fine songwriting won him a big fan following. Craigie released three studio LPs in five years including 'Working On My Farewell' (2015).
An avid Beatles fan himself, he is noted for his passion, humourous stage shows and selling-out international solo tours - not to mention touring with the likes of Jack Johnson. There have also been appearances at the Edmonton Folk Festival, Pickathon and Newport Folk Festival.
Craigie’s latest 2024 studio album release is a country rock mix, a collaborative enterprise with TK & The Holy Know-Nothings called Pagan Church. It stayed for six weeks on the Americana Radio Albums Chart at No.1. His back catalogue continues to realise many thousands of streams.
Tickets cost £24.75 inclusive of a transaction fee. The value of Stationery printers shouldn't be underestimated when it comes to advertising a concert or musical event.
John Craigie's gig has a starting time of 7.00 pm on Monday, 27 January at Hare and Hounds, South Birmingham.Get a Free Quote for Stationery
