Redditch Model Railway Club (MRC) is set to host its 46th annual exhibition over a two-day period later this month.
The event will have trade stands, working layouts and demonstrations of various aspects of railway modelling. The lists of traders attending include Redditch MRC Sales, Country Park Models, Classic Train and Bus, Hereford Model Centre and Culcheth Model Railways.
Among the layouts confirmed are the 29th Street Wharf, which is a 3.5mm layout based in the USA. Dagnell End will be a 4mm layout based on the Southern Region in the 1960's and Ventnor West is a 7mm layout based on the Isle of Wight in the 1940's.
Members of Redditch MRC will be demonstrating layout construction on the Auch Ke layout. The exhibition has a reputation for being a popular and friendly show, with a wide variety of stands and good trade support.
The entrance fee is £6 and a guide book is included in the price. Children accompanied by an adult can gain entry for free and on-site car parking is available. Bus and rail stations are within easy access. Flyer printing is often employed by event organisers as a way of promoting upcoming events to the local community.
The Redditch Model Railway Exhibition will take place on Saturday 21st between 10am and 5pm and on Sunday 22nd between 10am and 4:30pm at Trinity High School, which is located on Grove Street in Redditch.
