This project has been given the name Sharing Stories, and it will be one part of the wider initiative that is called ReNEW. It is the brainchild of Redditch Borough Council, and the idea is to get local youngsters taking part in creative activities that highlight the history of Redditch. The council has set up a special page on its website for the project and artists are free to apply using it now.
Sharing Stories will be made up of three different strands: Awe and Wander, Gateway to Nature and Wagons Roll. The first is focused on digital arts, the second on visual arts and the third on the performing arts. Artists can choose the one most suited to their skills when making their submissions.
