Redditch Carnival is an event that everyone in the town looks forward to. In previous years, it has always involved a parade through the streets, but that is changing this year. The 2026 event is being described as a Carnival Street Festival and will be based in one area. The spot that has been chosen is the road outside the HSBC branch, and The Parade, which is a pedestrian walkway.
Despite the makeover, the carnival is still sure to be an autumn event to remember. There will be a whole host of games and activities for families to take part in. There will also be various Forms of live entertainment, DJs spinning records, music workshops and a samba band, plus food and drink stalls.
When it comes to promoting local events, flyer printing by Redditch shops is an affordable option.
One aspect that has not changed is the organisation of the carnival. This is still being carried out by volunteers. Sue Yeng from the Carnival Committee told the Redditch Standard:
“Our aim is to provide an inclusive, uplifting community event that brings fun, culture, and positivity to Redditch while encouraging families and residents to come together and celebrate their town.”
It is scheduled to be held on Saturday 19th September.
