Production Futures, after its success last year, returns with another of its open days in Redditch in mid-November.
The event is focused on new talent seeking to enter the industry, in particular, young people and those still in education. It represents a gathering of the sector with industry giants, who will impart their experience and knowledge in the form of lectures, workshops and demonstrations.
Those attending can gain an understanding of the rapidly expanding industry of live production, including possible opportunities for career development. The areas covered on the day encompass audio, video, lighting, rigging, tour management and event production. It will see the biggest companies demonstrating and exhibiting the latest technology and products together with many of the newest brands, not to mention legends of the industry.
The TPi Breakthrough Talent Awards form part of Production Futures. These were established in 2016, and are aimed at those aged 30 and under working in various parts of the industry, including lighting, backline technology, video and set design, stage management and rigging. The intention is to spotlight those who have had an industry-wide impact.
Tickets are free to students and freelancers. Brochure printing is a great way of circulating information forthcoming events.
Production Futures will take place between 10am and 6pm on Wednesday 13th November at Fly by Nite Rehearsal Studio in Redditch.
