Redditch to get Prezzo restaurant

It has been announced that Prezzo, the popular Italian eatery, will be moving into Redditch’s Kingfisher Shopping Centre.

This will add to the burgeoning leisure and dining outlets available within ‘The Hub’ at the centre, as well as providing residents with further options when it comes to eating out.

The announcement comes in the wake of this summer’s launch of Ed’s Diner, an American food eatery, at the Kingfisher Centre, in addition to the decision of Costa Coffee to open a second outlet in Worcester Square.

The section of the Kingfisher Shopping Centre known as ‘The Hub’ was created as part of the refurbishment programme that cost £12m, and was designed to develop an evening economy and enhance both the shopping and dining attractions within the centre.

General Manager for the centre, Ken Williams, told the Redditch Standard:

“It’s brilliant news that Prezzo will be coming to Redditch, joining the spread of restaurants available to shoppers in The Hub.”

He went on to add that the centre was delighted to add an Italian cuisine outlet, with the arrival of Prezzo being part of the long-term Plans to make the Kingfisher Shopping Centre central to life in the town.

As with other eateries based there, Prezzo will be able to call on Print companies in Redditch to supply it with everything from promotional Flyers to Menus, once it opens in December.
