Redditch to get new Specsavers

Residents of Redditch won’t need their eyes tested later this year if they decide to pop into the local Sainsbury’s for some shopping and find an optician’s inside.

What they see will be for real, as the major brand Specsavers has announced that it is planning to open a new branch within the town – and its chosen site is inside the Sainsbury’s situated along the Alvechurch Highway in Redditch. This sizeable new Specsavers facility will feature three rooms for conducting eye tests as well as a hearing test audiology space that is equipped with sound proofing.

Flyer printing supplied by shops in Redditch is one option for new amenities like this Specsavers when they first open and are keen to make people aware of their presence.

The team in charge at this branch, within the Kingfisher Shopping Centre, will be Gurdeep Bansal, James Worton and Sarah Wright. Speaking to the Redditch Advertiser, the latter said that they were excited at the prospect of opening this new store, before going on to add that:

“In line with the opening we’ll be creating new jobs and we still have some positions to fill, so if you’re interested in working in a varied retail and health environment please get in touch.”

This new Specsavers will launch on September 5 and will be open seven days a week.
