A brand new housing scheme that will bring hundreds of new homes to Redditch will be able to go ahead, with the news that council has green-lit the proposals.
The developer who submitted the Plans is Persimmon Homes and the chosen site is in the Brockhill East part of Redditch, on Weights Lane. The Plans involve the building of 832 new homes at the site, but they also make up part of a bigger and more ambitious project for the area that would include a variety of other amenities.
Persimmon is hoping to get permission to create new open spaces for use by the public, a new network of highways, play facilities for local children, and a district centre. The developer also wants to put in a new system of drainage at the site.
Printing services in the Redditch area can help housing developers produce glossy Brochures to show off their newest houses to prospective buyers.
According to the planning documents submitted for this development, the location for the district centre would be alongside Holyoakes Field First School and Nursery. Within it would be shopping units, a building for the community, spaces for parking cars and a convenience store.
It has been confirmed by Persimmon that the new houses will include a number of affordable homes among them.
