The Palace Theatre in Redditch has advanced into the final of the Visit Worcestershire Awards for Excellence.

The Palace Theatre has got to the final in a category where it faces real competition. The other contenders in the Best Festivals & Events (Commercial) section are the Royal Horticultural Society Malvern Spring Festival and the Sunshine Festival of Upton upon Severn.
However, the Palace Theatre has got several strengths which may prove enough to take it over the line in first place. Firstly, its appearance has attracted favourable comments.
