Offering a blend of fashion, convenience and food, the store will see the Next clothing chain and Muffin Break coffee shop combined with a food hall inside a unit in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre, which was formerly home to Marks & Spencer store. The people behind the idea have now signed a contract for multi-leasing the chosen space ahead of the grand opening.
Speaking to the Redditch Standard, the centre’s general manager Ken Williams said they were thrilled at the prospect of offering customers something genuinely different, adding:
“The new department store will enable shoppers to move freely between the stores, allowing them to browse the different brands at their convenience.”
He concluded by saying that he was sure that the new concept store would be extremely popular with visitors to the centre. When new outlets open, they often use giveaway Promotional Products to help spark interest among the public.
The deal will see the Next store within the centre expanded to cover 20,000 sq. ft, while Muffin Break will also be expanded to 2,000 sq. ft. The combined store is scheduled to open in the spring of 2021.
