Redditch plans Royal Jubilee party

Redditch is gearing up for a community party to honour the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, with the borough council having now announced the site where it will be held.

The council is teaming up with different community groups and other partnership organisations to put together this party, with Arrow Valley Country Park to serve as the venue for it. Those attending will be able to enjoy live music performances, drinks and food between 5pm and 10pm, before the grand climax, when the park beacons are lit up to the accompaniment of choir singing.

Several music artists from the Redditch area have been chosen to play at the party, and they will be joined by tribute performances to the Bee Gees and Abba. The organisers of special events like this in Redditch can get help from Logo Design services when they are creating Posters for them.

Speaking to the Redditch Standard, Ishrat Karimi-Fini, the Events and Parks Manager for the borough council said that planning was in serious swing now, before adding:

“We are part of 1,500 locations across the country who will be lighting ceremonial beacons at exactly the same time. It’s already shaping up to be a wonderful event so make sure the date is in your diary!”

This party is one of many taking place to mark the Platinum Jubilee and is scheduled for 2nd June.
