This idea has been put forward by the Palace Drum Clinic, which is a recording studio on Evesham Walk. It hopes to create a space that would be called The Cave and that would offer a mix of services. The venue would combine programmes for the local community, facilities for musicians to rehearse, a studio for making recordings and a section for live musical performances.
The Palace Drum Clinic was founded by Matt Green and he recently organised a meeting with the MP for Redditch, Chris Bloore, to talk about the idea. Now Bloore has thrown his support behind the Plans.
Speaking to the Redditch Advertiser, he stated that there was lots of talent in the town, before adding:
"Matt and the team at Palace Drum Clinic have an inspiring vision to create a space where music and creativity can flourish. A venue like this could bring huge benefits to our community – not just for artists, but for young people, families and residents of all ages.”
Brochure printing by Redditch shops can be useful to venues like this, when they need to show off the different services they offer.
