Redditch manufacturer benefits from diversification

A Redditch enterprise has gained £2 million in sales after pursuing a strategy of diversification.

A total of 40 people are employed in a local factory by Thermex Ltd. Extra office Stationery from Redditch could be needed if the business’ turnover continues on an upward trend. It has been predicted that the company might have a turnover of almost £6.5 million this year.

Thermex’s managing director Julian Crossley stated:

“We have enjoyed significant success in 2017 so far, but that is no accident. It’s something we have planned for in our business strategy and the recent expansion of our capabilities has given us the platform to launch new products and given us the capacity to take on additional work.”

The company has been in the process of developing special performance coolers. These items may be useful for a variety of engines in different industries. For example, industrial and marine applications of the technology are possible.

Thermex has received assistance from a programme which aspires to foster manufacturing growth. About £1.3 million has been fed into the organisation to boost innovation. As a result of this intervention, the firm can offer a wider range of goods. This has not escaped the attention of those in marine industries.

The resources which have helped Thermex have flowed from the European Regional Development Fund. Economic Growth Solutions has reportedly played a role as an intermediary in terms of delivery.
