Redditch housing plans submitted

A brand new housing scheme may be set to be built in Redditch, with the news that the developer behind the project has submitted its Plans to the local council.

The applicant, Fort Estates, is hoping to construct an estate that would be made up of 23 homes in the town, with the chosen site for this development being a piece of land situated between Coventry Highway and Moons Moat Drive. These proposals have now been submitted to Redditch Borough Council for the planning permission necessary to move ahead with them.

If the council decides to give them the green light, the houses built as part of the development are set to be a mix of three-bedroom and two-bedroom properties. Eight of them will have three bedrooms and 15 will have two. Places offering Graphic Design Services are sometimes hired by housing developers to provide visual impressions of planned developments and an idea of what they will look like when completed.

The homes constructed would also be divided between detached, semi-detached and terraced ones, while a footpath would be provided as one of two proposed methods of accessing the site.

This is the second Plans for housing on the land in question have been put forward, with the previous proposal being for 14 three-bedroom houses to be constructed there. The land is adjacent to an existing estate.
