A developer has submitted Plans for the creation of a new care home at a Redditch site, which would involve the building that is currently standing there being converted.
MACC Group is hoping to secure permission from the council to construct a care home that would contain 83 bedrooms, on land to the north of the building known as Osprey House. This was formerly an educational facility for Worcestershire College, before the college moved out over a year ago. It has been lying empty since then.
Under the Plans that MACC Group has submitted, it would be turned into 33 flats for supported living. Most of the changes that the developer wants to make would involve the inside of the building. It has indicated that minimal alterations would be made to the outside.
Furthermore, in addition to this conversion and the construction of the care home, a linking building would also be created, that contains an office for the manager, a salon, a dining room and a reception. Stationery printers in Redditch could be useful, as a steady supply of printed Forms for admin use will be required to ensure that it is managed properly.
Alongside the bedrooms, the care facility would be equipped with spaces that can be used for medical treatment, and lounges for the residents.
A date for a decision is yet to be confirmed.Get a Free Quote for Stationery Get a Free Quote for Forms Get a Free Quote for Plans
