New housing planned for Redditch site
A piece of land in Redditch could be set to be used as the site for several new homes, if the council gives the green light to plans that have been submitted for that.
Redditch Borough Council has received an application to build on land not far from Crumpfields Lane. The chosen site is paddock land and comprises part of the green belt. It is situated between Pool Farm and Crumpfields Lane and measures 0.48Ha. If the application is given the go ahead, a total of nine houses will be constructed on the land.
According to the Redditch Advertiser, the developer behind the project is hoping to get ‘permission in principle’ from the council at the moment. When local developers have new properties for sale or rent, brochure printing by shops in Redditch can help to show them off.
The application that has been submitted in this case states that:
It then goes on to add that there are some useful amenities within the chosen area. These include a footpath for use by the general public that is illuminated by street lighting.
