An organisation in Redditch that is looking to create a brand-new youth centre for local people has been awarded a grant from the Government to help fund the scheme.
Your Ideas has been given funding to the tune of £816,000 from the Youth Investment Fund that was set up by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. It bought the former Bryant Place building in the Woodrow district of Redditch last summer with the aim of turning it into a new centre for youngsters. The building was formerly used by What’s Your Point, a youth organisation that is now defunct.
The planned new centre would be named The Den and used by the ex-members of that group, but would be a much larger facility able to cater to many more young people in the area. Your Ideas currently runs activities for over 200 of them, with another 140-plus on its waiting list.
Logo Design services in Redditch can help organisations like this one when they are looking to create memorable branding for their latest ventures.
In addition to the grant funding, Your Ideas has secured permission from the council to extend the building by adding a sports hall, pool/games room, gardens and a space for creative arts.
Its managing director Jordan Cooke said the funding news had delighted everyone involved in the project.Get a Free Quote for Logo Design
