Redditch Borough Council has given the nod to proposals for the creation of a brand new gymnasium space in the town that would offer a range of different options to help people get fit.
These proposals were submitted by Parkway Business Fitness, a company that is already based in Redditch and that offers both used and new gymnasium equipment for sale, as well as installations and repairs. The company’s plan is to transform a section of its storage unit into a place for members of the public to try out this equipment.
The thinking behind it is that people who are interested in getting in shape can do so by trialling the equipment the company offers, as well as taking part in a number of different classes, including spin and yoga.

Parkway Business Fitness submitted a ‘change of use’ application to the council, and this states that the spin studio would open every day between 6:00 am and 9:00 pm.
