A charity based in the county has put out a call for people in Redditch to nominate others living in the town for an awards night that will be taking place later this year.
Young Solutions provides training and advice to young people in need throughout Worcestershire and it also runs the annual Tryangle Awards. These were created to mark achievements and work put in by youngsters to help their local communities and now it is asking for nominees from Redditch for the 2022 event.
Tryangle Awards nominees can be any young people who have managed to thrive despite setbacks such as school or home problems, health issues or disabilities. Among those in Redditch that have been honoured in past years are a girl who cares for her younger sisters and brothers, and a sports club volunteer.

People can nominate Redditch youngsters in one of six different categories: the ‘Peter Pinfield Award for Citizenship and Environment’, ‘Personal Development’, ‘Sports’, ‘Good Friends and Carers’, ‘Arts or Music’ and ‘Bravery’.
