ABBA tribute show comes to Redditch

The Palace Theatre in Redditch shall host a production called ‘Thank You for The Music’.

The all-star cast will aim to generate a lot of enthusiasm for the songs which have inspired so many fans to have fun. Poster printing from Redditch can be used to promote and celebrate events of all types. A spokesperson told the Redditch & Alcester Advertiser:

“Record-breaking movies, smash-hit West End musicals, chart-topping albums and singles – ABBA’s incredible legacy now lives on in concert with this all-new international smash-hit show. Dancing kings and queens – have the time of your lives with the all-time greatest party-time extravaganza.”

Young people might not appreciate that ABBA formed way back in 1972. The Swedish foursome comprised of Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, with the initial letters of their first names coming together to spell ABBA. The band evolved into an international phenomenon of huge cultural significance.

ABBA triumphed at the Eurovision Song Contest and have sold millions of records. Between 1974 and 1982, ABBA were chart toppers with a wide range of memorable hits. ‘Dancing Queen’, ‘Waterloo’ and ‘Take A Chance on Me’ have become dancefloor staples. Hence the Redditch show, which opens in March, should be popular.

Tickets were made available online, but it was made possible for fans to pick them up in person.
