Wonderland comes to the Lighthouse Theatre

The Lighthouse Theatre in Kettering near Northampton was recently transformed into a topsy-turvy dream world as part of a ballet production of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland.

The Ballet Theatre UK dance company is the organisation behind the latest production to hit the Lighthouse. The company hosted its version of Alice in Wonderland at the theatre on 19th April to a packed audience.

Christopher Moore, founder of The Ballet Theatre UK, is currently taking the production on tour around a number of theatres across the country as a way to showcase his take on the popular children's story. The production has been called captivating and witty by critics who commented on earlier shows on the tour.

Shows like this help theatres like the Lighthouse to stay open, often drawing in large crowds. This time, the production offered a specially-priced family ticket in a bid to encourage more people to attend the show. Initiatives like this are an extra way to pull in attendees, alongside tried and tested methods like poster and flyer printing.

Northampton and Kettering theatre-goers look set to enjoy a packed programme of events this summer, with musicals, plays, concerts and live music all due to take place at the much-loved Lighthouse venue. With the right kind of promotional support, the building should be packed every night. Printing companies in Northampton often help local venues to promote the events they are planning to ensure that costs are covered and profit is made.
