A wintertime party with a Caribbean flavour is headed to a respected hotel in Northampton later this year.
Northampton residents seeking a spicy way to celebrate the winter season won’t have long to wait. An event called the “Just Nice Winter Warmer” will soon be held in town that features Caribbean inspired cuisine, live entertainment, drinks and dancing past midnight.
Guests coming down to the party will be greeted with drinks on arrival followed by a three-course sit-down dining experience featuring spicy and aromatic Caribbean-influenced cooking. Options include sweet potato and butternut squash curry, jerk spiced chicken breast and sponge with a rum and toffee sauce.

Providing a soundtrack for diners hitting the dancefloor there will be reggae, soul, funk, and soca music performed by live musicians and DJ HotStepper who will keep the party going until late.
A charity event, the party will raise much-need funds for women and children in need of support.
The Just Nice Winter Warmer at The Mercure Hotel starts at 6.30 pm on Saturday, November 29 and ends at on Sunday November 30 at 1 am. The hotel is easy to find on Silver Street in Northampton.
