Winter Food Festival to return to Northampton

Northampton’s annual Winter Food Festival is set to take place in the town early next month.

The event is acquiring something of a reputation, attracting on average around 5,000 visitors, of which many come from outside the locality. The success of previous festivals has seen it become an established fixture in the town’s calendar.

The festival provides an opportunity for visitors to experience artisan cuisine and drinks just prior to Christmas. It offers plenty for those attending to see, do and of course, eat. The festival encompasses everything from warm winter bites and seasonal fruit favourites to ideas for gifts.

There will be more than 80 producers of agri-food and drink present that will have new on display throughout the event. There will also be a series of demonstrations by popular chefs, gift stalls, free wine and gin tasting workshops, cookery schools for adults and children, food talks as well as an open-air street market.

Tickets range from £4 to £10.84 and free car parking is available. Community events such as this are often marketed in various ways, including social media campaigns and flyer printing.

This year’s Northampton Winter Food Festival is due to be held between 10am and 5pm on Saturday 9th November and between 10am and 4pm on Sunday 10th November at the County Cricket Ground.
