More than 2,000 young people considering furthering their education visited to find out what the university can offer them. The day offered the prospective students all of the details they could need about what undergraduate degree courses will be available in the upcoming academic year.
However, although this was the main aim of the event, there were plenty of other attractions including a barbecue, water zorbing, a climbing wall, bungee run and a bull for rodeo riding.
Alongside these activities, university staff members were on hand to provide a comprehensive schedule of sessions giving advice, talks about the various degree subjects, and general help with any other queries parents and prospective students had about the establishment.
The University of Northampton’s Director of Marketing and Human Resources, Deborah Mattock, told the Northampton Herald and Post:
“We were delighted to welcome a record-breaking number of people to our July Open Day,”
Mattock went on to add:
“Open Days are the very best way to get a real taste of university life and discover how studying here will be a life-changing experience.”
The university will know that it can rely on places supplying printing services in the local area, to produce the attractive Posters and Brochures advertising events like this.
