The innovative stand-up comic Ed Gamble is currently on tour with his show 'Hot Diggity Dog' and is due to play a gig in Northampton in mid-April.
This English actor, writer and comedian attended the University of Durham, getting his first break at the 'Durham Revue'. He made the final of Chortle's 2007 Student Comedy Awards, and is a frequent performer at Edinburgh's Fringe.
One of the judges on the 'Great British Menu' and a previous 'Taskmaster' Champion, Ed co-hosts the successful podcasts 'Off Menu' with James Acaster and 'The Peacock and Gamble Podcast' with Ian Boldsworth.
His list of TV credits includes BBC 2's 'Live at the Apollo' and BBC 1's 'Would I Lie To You' as well as being a regular panel member on BBC 2's 'Mock the Week'. He also appears on Radio X at Weekends together with Matthew Crosby, not to mention performing at comedy festivals such as Bath and Brighton.
Ed's first book, 'Glutton' was published last October. It is an intimate and entertaining memoir of a person living their life through food.
