The vocal group G4 has embarked on its '20th Anniversary Tour' and is due to play Northampton towards the end of June.
This quartet Forms one of the UK’s leading group when it comes to vocal harmonies. It was participation in the series of ITV's X-Factor in 2004 that proved to be the big breakthrough for them. Their blend of classically trained singers and innovative treatment of well-known tracks earned them the epithet ‘Kings of Popera’.
They have released six albums, selling millions of records, as well as touring relentlessly, both in the UK and abroad. This has included around a dozen performances in the Royal Albert Hall, all contributory factors to them attracting an army of fans.
The upcoming show will feature G4's most successful hits; notably, impressive versions of Queen's ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ and ‘Nessun Dorma’. It is also an opportunity to discover some new songs from their latest album, due out later this year.
The group now consists of Jonathan Ansell, Duncan Sandilands and Mike Christie, with 'Britain’s Got Talent' winner Jai McDowall having recently joined.
