Northampton Careers Fair, organised by The UK Careers Fair, is due to be held in the town in mid-February.
It welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds with different employment experiences and educational records. There will be a large selection of companies and organisations in attendance representing all sectors, with numerous and varied roles being advertised.
This is a chance to talk directly to a host of employers, all present in one place, about the opportunities currently available. It can reduce what is often a time-consuming and lengthy process of hunting and applying for jobs online or by post.
The sort of companies that tend to participate includes Billing Finance, Shaw Healthcare, The Royal Navy, Reed, Northamptonshire Police, Allvotec, DHL, and Coba Resourcing. They have all previously exhibited at similar events in Northampton in the past.
This event should appeal to a wide range of people, not only those engaged in seeking employment, but also those considering a change of career or who simply want to discover what vacancies are out there.
Attendance is free and open to everyone. For some, it may double up as a chance to take along some extra Business Cards for distribution and networking purposes.
The Northampton Careers Fair will take place between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm on Friday, February 18 at The Radisson Park Inn, Northampton.
