Jazz in the Gardens is due to be held in Northampton towards the end of July.
This event is organised by organised by the Delapre Abbey Preservation Trust and sees Woburn Jazz make a return to the stage. Formerly, known as "The Open Band", it usually consists of around 20 members guided by the musical leadership of Paul Taverner.
The group has a good reputation and a considerable repertoire that includes Big Band standards, classic jazz, popular swing, blues and Bossa Novas as well as Funk and more contemporary numbers. There should be something here that will appeal to a broad spectrum of tastes.
The event is located in what has been described as the "delightful surroundings" of a walled garden and in the evening, guests will be able to explore of the extensive range of catering facilities, which will include a bar.
Tickets vary in price from £8-£15 and can be booked in advance.
