The stand-up comedian Lloyd Griffith, who is on tour with his One Tonne Of Fun show, is due to play a gig in Northampton towards the end of January.
His comedy career began in 2009, although he had always been a joker at school prepared to do anything in order to gain a laugh. 20 years on, he is now a regular on the professional comedy circuit, performing at clubs all around the UK.
Lloyd's confidence on stage and ability to readily communicate with an audience has led to him securing several residencies as a comedian. These include at the Therapy Rooms Comedy Club in Tunbridge Wells, and London's Get Up Stand Up.
His list of TV credits is quite extensive encompassing such popular shows as Apple TV's Ted Lasso, BBC1's A Question Of Sport and Not Going Out, Channel 4's 8 Out Of 10 Cats and ITV's Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club.
Lloyd also acted as support for Jack Whitehall on his recent nationwide tour. This new 2023 stand-up show is his biggest so far, incorporating not only stand-up but impressions together with the occasional song thrown in.
