A Film and Food Fest, presented by Adventure Cinema, is due to be held in Northampton in mid-September.
This is an open-air festival showcasing classic movies and short films, together with recent releases. These will be shown on a large LED screen, spread over four days. Other entertainments on offer include stand-up comedy delivered by some of the best-known comedians on the UK circuit.
The movies are complemented by food and refreshments, vendors organised by Street Food Warehouse. This encompasses everything from bruschetta to gourmet burgers, and from ice cream to crepes. Dedicated on-site bars will serve a wide range of beers, speciality cocktails and Prosecco.
Thursday evening at the Film and Food Fest throws the spotlight on movie shorts made by local and regional independent filmmakers. It highlights the artistic work of such creatives, acting as an important platform, and providing audiences with a one-off opportunity to view new and original cinema.
Adult tickets start at £16.50 (plus a booking fee) and children aged 12 under can gain half-price entry. From each ticket, £2 of the proceeds goes towards supporting film organisations in the local area. Indeed, Logo Design can be a valuable skill set when it comes to branding a film or movie franchise.
The Film and Food Fest will take place between 6:00 pm on Thursday, through to 10:30 pm on Sunday, September 19 at the Racecourse, Northampton.
