The pop-rock singer-songwriter Justin Hayward OBE is embarking on 'The Harmony Tour' and is due to play Northampton in mid-March.
His career spans five decades, and he is primarily recognised as the vocalist and lead guitarist of the Moody Blues. Their UK hits include 'Tuesday Afternoon' and 'Nights in White Satin', as well as making the Top 40 in the US with 'In Your Wildest Dreams'.
Hayward joined the band in 1966, and they went on to sell 55 million plus albums around the world, achieving 18 gold and platinum discs. Indeed, their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame took place in 2018.
The musician has also released a series of solo albums, notably 'Moving Mountains' and 'The View From The Hill'. This success led to the 1978 Top Ten worldwide hit 'Forever Autumn'.
Hayward starred in a stage production of 'His Spirits of the Western Sky' (2013). In 2020, he began a YouTube 'Tuesday Afternoon Video Series' and continues to make new music, releasing 'Living For Love' in 2022.
The support on this occasion is to be provided by the guitarist Mike Dawes.
