The Northampton Gin & Rum Festival is due to be held in the town at the beginning of October.
An opportunity to discover more about both of these popular spirits, the festival is part of a national tour. It will offer residents the opportunity to purchase high-quality products from specifically selected distillers. There will be at least 120 gins and rums, including flavoured drinks from Britain and worldwide making an appearance.
Complimentary samples and lectures from the guest-listed distillers and free premium tonics and mixers, as well as advice on garnish suggestions for home servings, should all help to enhance everyone's enjoyment.
Those attending can choose to relax in theme-based Gin and Rum bars, or the Cocktail bar. The latter will have on offer a wide range of in-season cocktails, tequilas and beers. Music from a well-known DJ, as well as other live onsite entertainment, is clearly charged with fostering that festival feel.
Each ticket includes a free drink and snacks together with a special branded cup, a satchel and a reusable straw. There is also a complimentary and self-evidently useful Gin and Rum Guide.
