Sir Geoff Hurst is touring an Evening With Geoff Hurst, organised by A1 Sporting Speakers, and is due to make an appearance in Northampton at the end of March.
It was through his exploits, particularly with England's national team in 1966, that this talented footballer established an international reputation. Indeed, he is only one of two players to have scored three times in a world cup final.
Hurst’s career began at West Ham United, appearing on 499 occasions and accumulating a total of 248 goals. This included winning both the FA and European Cup Winners Cups in the mid-1960s.
He went on to play for Stoke City and West Brom and was player-manager at Telford; not to mention periods spent plying his trade abroad in the USA and Kuwait. Sir Geoff was also England's assistant coach for five years (1977 -1982) and Chelsea's manager for a further two years.
He will talk frankly about his career, football in general and, of course, the 1966 World Cup. There will also be an audience Q&A session, as well as a brief charity auction.
Tickets range in price from £28.50 to £65.00 and may be subject to a booking fee. Brochure printing can be a useful way of promoting a speaking or conversational event.
An Evening With Geoff Hurst has a starting time of 7.30pm on Thursday 30th March at The Deco Theatre, Northampton.
