The American musician Dean Friedman is set to perform in concert with special guest Boothby Graffoe in Northampton early in May.
The singer-songwriter is responsible for such popular chart hits as "Ariel", "Lydia" and "Lucky Stars". He is making his return to the musical stage with a series of true-life tales in songs that explore the fundamentals of daily life, friends and family.
Friedman has also created soundtracks for film and TV shows, notably the Central TV series "Boon" and NBC's "Eerie Indiana", and he has appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. To this can be added the publication of a book on how to develop song-writing skills called "The Songwriters Handbook".
Friedman will give a solo performance on keyboard and guitar, including songs spanning his 40-year career taken from his total of eight successful albums. His latest release, "American Lullaby", contains 12 new and original tracks and has received widespread acclaim from both fans and critics alike.
Boothby Graffoe is a comic, singer-songwriter and author who has won the "Time Out Comedy Award" and was a Perrier nominee.
Tickets prices for the upcoming performance start at £27.50, but this may change subject to availability. Brochure printing can be an effective way of promoting a forthcoming musical event such as this.
Dean Friedman - In Concert has a starting time of 7.30pm on Sunday. 8th May at The Deco Theatre, Northampton.
