After a construction period lasting four months, the garden has been finished in Northampton’s Kingsthorpe. It has been designed to preserve the memory of four friends that were killed in a traffic accident. Printing services in Northampton can be handy for groups which want to raise money.
Two of the friends were from Northampton. They were returning home from an event in Bristol when the incident happened. Brogan Warren was one of the victims of the crash and Deborah Byrne, her mother, wanted something special to be made. Lots of people contributed to the scheme and over £2,500 was collected.
Steve Eagle took on the management of the project and he told the Northampton Chronicle & Echo:
“I was looking for somewhere to start a hydroponics project and Debs said I could use her garden. I'm just so grateful and this is my way of saying thanks.”
Three benches have been installed and artwork has been employed to make the site distinctive, whilst a booth for DJs, a bar and a pit for fires add character to the place.
Eagle envisages that more work will be done on the garden. The hope is that after five years there will be fish, bees and chickens on the land.
